Taiga Cosplay - After AOD

Hahaha I have such a bleh expression on my face. I always get tired after being in the car for a while, seeing as it takes more than half an hour to get to San Francisco's Japantown. @_@ And there's also the fact that my eyes look like they're closed when I try to smile for pictures xD

So yeah, this was from February 17, which was the first day of AOD (Animation on Display), a convention. I cosplayed as Taiga Aisaka from the anime Toradora. (Actually, I also wore this cosplay for Halloween last year but only had a couple of pictures, so I didn't put them up...I might put up one or two later though? D: ) I had my dad take the picture.

I'd like to be able to cosplay again sometime. Any recommendations for characters? o: It'd be good if I could use my actual hair (which is black and a little above chinlength). Also, no tall characters unfortunately because I'm only 5 feet tall :
