Description
This is an acrylic painting I did, quite a while ago (summer of 2009). Actually, I looked at fake seashells when I was painting this. XD The painting looks rather darker than it's supposed to in parts...Sigh...Scanning it doesn't always work out. (And the bottom seems cut off. Oh well.)

I thought it was supposed to look that way, darker in the lower part to the left, to give it the appearance of shadow, and sunlight coming in at the top... I thought that was quite good, I like it.
And the colour of the shell in the middle, the mother-of-pearl is great. This is good. You should definitely paint more.
