OC Hinako - 2nd Attempt

I can never seem to make up my mind on how my OCs should look, and this is no exception. I don't know about the hair length or the style of the bangs or whether she should have a ponytail... I did decide that she would have wavy hair, though. (And when I'm designing characters I get worried that they'll look too much like ones that already exist. D: ) An earlier attempt at drawing her that I did in summer 2010 can be found in my Scraps.

Well, anyways, I ended up just using this as an opportunity to draw clothes more detailed than usual. XD My character here, Hinako, probably wouldn't wear something like this.

Guess I ought to talk about her a little because I never really have...She is the heir to the throne in her country (a fictional land whose name I never settle on D: ) but resents it, feeling that she doesn't deserve the position, and also wanting to have more freedom to live as an ordinary citizen would. I tend to think of her as someone who is stubborn and reckless, but also as being rather sensitive...But then her design still isn't set in stone.

Sorry if it doesn't look quite right as 3/4 view, I've been trying to learn to draw with a different perspective besides just facing straight on.

Started drawing this in 2010 around October or so, but didn't finish it until January. Talk about slacking off -_-;;
